OMG these are brilliant!
I need to tell them to make t-shirts like this.
Sweet.
They also have a ton of other cool stuff.
and yes, I should be in bed right now

Easy, eh? Try telling that to the hot, sticky baby who can't bloody breathe under it, and would prefer to look at her mother's FACE, rather than a piece of fabric. You've obviously never tried it. With quite a lot of babies (dare I say the majority, at least at some point), if you try to drape a blanket, you're in for a wrestling match. But of course, THAT wouldn't draw attention to what your're trying to do, now, would it?
I've breastfed at a wedding reception, and the mother of the bride came around taking pictures--she had not the FAINTEST idea that I wasn't just holding my sleeping baby. (She would have been mortified at asking to snap a pic if she'd known.) You draw the least amount of attention if you just do it, rather than make a production out of it by throwing a blanket over a baby who wants no part of it. The blanket just screams "Hey, look at me, I'm wearing a fucking BLANKET. With tiny FEET hanging out one end. Wonder what I'm doing under here?" Yeah, you're not cryptic.

I've seen plenty of nursing mothers who have had no problem being discreet. Also, many who make a point of scheduling when they'll be in public around known feeding times. I don't really see the point of making a trip to the mall half an hour before one knows Junior will be hungry.
It's not the act of feeding that's the issue, it's being silly and thinking that a flash of bare boob won't attract attention, or being even sillier and doing it knowing that it will attract attention, hoping people will think "my, what a wonderful human being--she can feed a kid all on her own!"
That's what annoys me about this campaign. It has nothing to do with wanting to quietly feed one's kid, and everything to do with shoving a leaking boob in people's faces because they think having that is a badge of honor.
