Yesterday's accomplishments

This is one of about... oh... two dozen wall hangings of various sorts that were assembled and hung yesterday, which included some of my action figures (decided to store some of them, though.) The whole project took almost all day--a lot longer than I thought it would. More to finish today, and soon the walls won't look so naked.

As for this particular thing: I realized that I have a lot of pretty jewelry, but I don't wear it very often. Rather than hiding it away where I never see it, I decided to get a front-opening shadow box at a craft store, and loaded it up. I think it looks kinda awesome this way.

Oh! I love that idea!! So much better than hiding it all away in a jewelry box. And it makes it so much easier to pick something to wear when you are in the mood for jewelry!
