Start talking about how gender alone shouldn't be a barrier to competing in sports.
It's downright funny, in a creepy sort of way, to watch people flail when you talk about things like girls playing high school football.
Women are "allowed" these days to be in many a male-dominated profession. We can become doctors, lawyers, CEOs, high-ranking politicians... Almost anything. But men still feel ridiculously threatened by the idea of competing directly against us on a field or court, and some women still freak out about the idea of losing that last shred of femininity to be tough enough to play with the boys. There are times I think that the only reason women's sports programs have any funding at all is just to keep the really talented girls from encroaching on the sanctified land of jock straps.
And meanwhile, some incredibly gifted cornerback is being denied a chance to play college ball just because she has boobs. Stupid.
