Locals: Stuff and nonsense
![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
We'll be having a real garage sale in a few weeks, and I'll be posting stuff on Craigslist, but I figured I'd give all y'all first crack at some of the bigger stuff we're getting rid of at the house.
It's all free for the taking, as long as you haul it out yourself. If you desperately need pics, I'll see if I can come up with some, but if you go poking around on my Flickr account, you should be able to see some of it here and there.
*Tall cabinet
--This is about 7' tall, 2' wide, with a glass-front cabinet on the top, an open shelf (microwave-sized) and a drawer and cabinet on the bottom. Particle board with a dark oak veneer. The middle shelf is sagging a little bit so the drawer sticks.
*Three corner computer desks. All are particle board with veneer.
--Light maple veneer with black accents. About 4' each side. Has a hutch, monitor stand, file drawer and two cabinets. It comes with a matching five-shelf bookcase and two-drawer lateral file.
--Light cherry veneer with brushed steel hardware. About 4' on each side. Attached monitor stand with drawers and cubbies. File drawer and two cabinets. Comes with two matching bookshelves--one 6', one 5'. The keyboard tray is in need of some reconstructing.
--Tall, narrow desk, about 4' across, light maple veneer with two upper shelves. Metal posts/accents.
*King bed and accessories:
--This is a very pretty set. Headboard and footboard have dark oak finishes on the posts, and black powdercoat aluminum basketweave design with vine/leaf decoration. Two matching nightstands with glass tops and a matching oval full-length mirror.
--The box springs (two twins) are also available. The mattress is, too, but it's definitely beaten up and a little stained, though still fairly usable.
*Short dressers:
Particle board, four-drawer with dark oak veneer. About 2' wide, 3' tall.
*TV cart:
Short, particle board, about 3' wide, 2' tall. Rollers and an open bottom shelf.
*Two counter-height barstools:
Wood, light maple with cream-colored cushioned seats.
*6' Sofa:
This is a sad thing. It's got beautiful bones and lines, but the sides of the fabric are shredded to bits thanks to too many years living with the kitties. It's in a traditional style with a curved back and rolled arms. It's a medium basil green with tan and cranberry accent pillows. If you're into upholstery or just want to throw a cover over it, it'll serve you well for years to come.
There may be more, but that's what I can think of off the top of my head.
There's also a ton of much smaller stuff, so feel free to raid whatever else we have set aside if you're interested. If there's something you need, ask and I'll see if we have it somewhere. I'll also post a note here when we're going to have the garage sale.

Can't seem to find a pic of the barstools, but I'll snap one when I'm next at the house.
