Spamming my journal
The new 3-D version of this is unbelievably cool.
Kudos to whoever was working on this. I love it.
I'm stuck here in the Ham this weekend, due to a meeting for the SMFH and needing to get shit done instead of sit around the house and veg. I should probably also pay closer attention to my classes, too. I think I did fairly well on the psych quiz today, but I got my last jazz quiz back with a score of 64. Ouch.
This would be far less of an ouch if I had done one thing--turned the damned paper over to see an entire extra page of questions I didn't answer.
O_o
Thing is, he had a top page with questions, but nothing printed on the back of that page, and then a second page stapled to that. Given the pattern, I shouldn't have had any reason to look at the back of the second page. If I really cared all that much about the grade, I'd protest, but as it is, he throws out the lowest quiz anyway, so I'll just write this one off.
To leave you with a funny... I'm reading a story about Pat Roberston making death threats, and I see this hysterical thing down on the comments.
This chick is railing about how people are judging Robertson and "slandering" him and blah blah, and she justifies her rant with this priceless statement:
"Whether you like him or not, your negative comments could hinder someone from making a life long decision to follow Christ. Why would anyone want that on their conscience?"
Heavens to Mergatroyd! Criticize a TV preacher and it might discourage someone from becoming a Christaholic! Pointing out the rotten stuff a self-described man of God does is akin to criticizing God hisself and that might make people NOT LIKE GOD!
Oi.
Somehow, I think my conscience can handle this. ;)

Love the silly person's quote about Robertson; presumably she believes he sits at the right hand of Jaysus who, of course, sits at the right hand of God Hisself....

As for the story about Pat Robertson, It never ceases to surprise me that evangelicals in particular take the cultist motto: "join first, ask questions later-if ever, and preferably never." It's remarkable that someone would be willing to excuse Robertson to get someone in the fold and seriously say "ehhh, we'll deal with the very un-Christian death threats and hatred and bigorty and warmongering later...we'll get to that."
Honestly.
