This ought to be interesting. Granted, he has no career to speak of right now and he's far from the band's heyday, when coming out (as he said) would've been disastrous. But he's still one of the highest-profile young men to come out.
And it proves something I think a lot of people are going to be uncomfortable with: that gaydar and rumors are often true, and lying for the sake of career happens allllll the time.
I hope he sets an example for others. And I also hope the bitches in the gay community don't savage him too much. He's going to go through some hell for a while. He'll need the community's support.
