Accent: Mountain West hick, with a bit of California, some Oklahoma twang (thanks to learning to talk when my grandmother was around) and these days, the slightly-Canadian casual Northwest thing. I've been known to say things like "Dude, y'all're goin t'th' store, eh? Kin ya bring me backa soda?"

Breakfast: Usually some sort of breakfast shake or smoothie these days, but often enough, it's eggs, veg sausage and toast or cereal.

Chore I hate: Dusting. Which is why I never do it.

Dad's Name: My dad goes by his middle name, which, in a strange coinkydink, is also my husband's name. It was weird early on.

Essential Everyday Item: My glasses. I'm incapable of functioning without them.

Flavour Ice Cream: Phish food or Cherry Garcia. Also like Dreamery Coney Island Waffle Cone.

Gold or Silver: Silver. I've never liked yellow.

Hometown: Born in Reno, but I'd say my heart's home is Portland.

Insomnia? Primary, but not secondary. I will stay up because I can't get to sleep, but once I'm out, I'm out.

Job Title: Officially, at the moment, Freelance Writer.

Kids: If my ovaries cooperate, perhaps. Not sure about adoption. It's hard to find kids that don't have special needs, and I just wouldn't be able to properly care for those.

Living arrangements: While I'm in school, I live in an apartment in Bellingham during the week, then come home on the weekends to the house we own in Snohomish county, wherein reside Mike and our four kitties.

Number of significant others: At the moment, one. Wouldn't mind having one or two others someday, if we found the right one(s).

Overnight hospital stays: Only one.

Phobia: I'm a little afraid of heights and tight spaces. I avoid stairs and hills whenever possible, because I know I have a big risk of not making it to the top if my knees or muscles or lungs give out.

Queer: Quite.

Religious Affiliation: None. About 99% atheist. Though I do like the concept of Unitarians.

Siblings: One half sister, though I grew up an only child.

Unatural hair colour: At the moment, strawberry blonde.

Worst habit: procrastination.

X - rays: quite a few.

Yummy: Mixed baby green and herb salad with pears, dried cranberries, candied walnuts and gorgonzola, drizzled with raspberry vinaigrette.

Zodiac sign: Double Gemini, Virgo moon. Which is a very unfortunate combination. My brain never shuts off (and sometimes my mouth doesn't, either) and I'm impulsive, plus I worry constantly.
