Cool discussion about journalism

I included this link on my previous [personal filter]ed post, but I'm posting it unlocked, too, because I think it's a fascinating look into the mind of a journalist--in this case, a mind that's very much like my own.

Shy journalist?

I refuse to be the stereotype of the obnoxious, heartless reporter. In fact, I got into this industry specifically to try to counter those types, because the purposes of the profession are too important to leave up to those bastards. I'm glad to see that this guy is being encouraged to stick with it, and to not lose his soul.
