Back at the bachelor pad again. Had to sit through a terminally boring city council meeting tonight for my reporting class. I do think it's kind of amusing that the biggest issue in this city is whether to spend money buying up unused greenspaces to keep them from being developed, or buying land to develop into parks. People are very passionate about this. My instructor joked around that the reason he went into teaching was so he wouldn't have to cover city council meetings anymore. Heh.
I'm beginning to grow tired of this commute, though. The back and forth between residences is starting to gnaw. Not the drive itself, which really isn't too bad (though still too long to do every day) but the whole "where am I sleeping tonight?" thing. It's hard to get into a proper domestic rhythm when it's constantly being disrupted.
And I have a year and a half left of this. Gah.
Gotta get up early tomorrow to make a last-ditch effort at finding a proper listening post. Otherwise I'm stuck with riding the bus or sitting around at the pull tab bar. Ack.
