Christ I hate cold weather.

My body is trying to override my brain and convince it that there are logical reasons to consume everything in the refrigerator.

Body: "Really--you're going to be away from the apartment for three weeks! You don't want this to go bad, do you?"

Brain: "Um. That would be an entire package of applesauce, doofus. With a sell-by date a year from now. Shuddup."

I've been doing this for the last few weeks. I just sit and eat. It doesn't help that I also eat when I'm bored or depressed. Yuck. I think there should be free behavioral psych clinics to help people lose bad habits.

I just want a free bludgeon for the part of my metabolism that doesn't realize my body already has enough insulation to get me through the next ice age.
