Pimping my crib
...or however the cool kids are saying it these days.
Was just talking to
havdrake about furniture and that reminded me I hadn't posted these.
Shawna's Tricked Out Sleazy Bachelor Pad
I woke up at six this morning to go interview people in Xbox lines. Good god. Some of those people are craaaaazeeee. They'd been out there since yesterday and it was freezing last night. Dang. That's some dedication.
The new icon is a pic I took of my building (or at least the one I have most of my classes in) in the fog that was creeping over campus yesterday afternoon. It looked really cool.
Food. Write. Nap. Then home for the holiday week. Where there will be more food, writing and napping. Only with added cat hair and cuddles from M and the kids. Which will make all of the food, writing and napping more enjoyable. Well, maybe not the food so much with the cat hair.
Oh, and I know you're reading this, Mom. Happy 60th birthday, ya old bat. Behave y'self so I don't have to ground you until you're 70. ;)

No, really... it looks like you found a great place!

You know, I'd really like to have an Xbox 360, but it's not something I'd be willing to wait out in the cold rain for two days in order to get. Especially since some of these places weren't going to be getting very many in the first place.

There are definite advantages to being a post-bac. Mmmhmm. It's quite small, though. Only a full bed would fit in the bedroom, and the kitchen is downright cramped. But I like it.

Yeah. I only do that for things that aren't going to become available again in the future. Shows, movie premieres, that sort of thing. I can't imagine doing it for a retail item unless it was some sort of limited-edition something or other.
