M'aidez, s'il vous plait...
Well, the feature project I'm supposed to be working on for my newswriting final isn't coming together like it should, because the people I need to talk to are apparently chronically incapable of returning messages.
So, my flist to the rescue, I hope.
The backup project I have in mind is to cover Serenity/Firefly fandom. Yes, in a "who are these freaks?" way. ;P
No, seriously, even though I'm not into it myself, I think it'd be a fun article to do.
So where y'all can help me is that I need people to talk to.
The requirements of the people in question:
1. I need a minimum three people, preferably a few more.
2. They need to be fairly knowledgeable about their fandom and about history and details of their object ofobsession interest.
3. At least one has to be Seattle-area-local, because I need an in-person interview (more would be great)
4. The people in question would need to be available for interviews next week, while I'm home on break, since my first draft is due a week from tomorrow.
5. I can't interview any friends or family. Friend-of-a is fine. So if you can point me to someone I don't know who fits the above criteria, that would be splendid.
Merci in advance, mes cheres.
