No-one ever returns messages in a reasonable amount of time. Hi, when I say "my deadline is Sunday" calling me on the following Tuesday does not help.
People don't generally like talking to the press unless they have something to pimp. Which means that they ignore even repeated messages, or don't consider returning them any sort of priority. I feel like I'm one step up from a telemarketer.
