10 years ago today:
August 10th, 1995. I think I was working at Musician's Friend in Medford. Nasty job full of nasty people in a nasty little town. Mike and I had moved there to chase a job prospect which eventually fell through, and we spent 8 months scraping by until he finally interviewed at MS that December. The one saving grace of our time there was having a group of really great friends. All of whom have scattered to the four winds by now, but at that time, we were a happy, crazy little bunch.
5 years ago today:
August 10th, 2000. We'd been in the new house for 7 months, and were still unpacking and setting up home. I was playing an awful lot of Asheron's Call around that time, and getting geared up for another season with the chorus.
1 year ago today:
August 10th, 2004. I was doing a lot of prep work on Lost Multimedia and working on setting up the Beyonds.
Yesterday:
Ugh. Icky day spent trying to talk my way through a messed-up sensitive issue thing.
5 snacks I enjoy:
Cherries! Apples with peanut butter, popcorn, crackers, cottage cheese
5 songs I know all of the lyrics to:
Only 5? How about the entirety of the first three Sarah McLachlan albums?
5 things I would do with 100 million dollars:
Put a chunk in investments so we could live off the dividends and interest.
Buy my parents and Mike's parents new homes, plus build the house we've always wanted.
Set up a scholarship fund for queer youth.
Give 100k to each of my closest friends
Put Mike through college
5 places I would run away to:
Canada, Australia, New Zealand... and that's about it. I love it here. Not the US, but where I live. I haven't been everywhere I'd like to go, but of the places I've gone, I still love the Northwest better than anywhere else.
5 things I would never wear:
Pantyhose, mini-skirts, anything pink, cowboy hats or anything with copious amounts of lace.
5 favorite T.V. shows:
Lost, CSI, Battlestar Galactica, Gray's Anatomy and Attack of the Show.
5 bad habits:
Getting so involved in a game or a project that I lose track of time and push myself way past my bedtime.
Getting into pointless arguments.
Not exercising as much as I should.
Getting really excited about starting a new project, and then losing interest halfway through and chucking it.
Falling for people who are entirely inappropriate for me.
5 biggest joys:
Mike, my cats, September in Seattle, learning, crusading for social progress
5 favorite toys:
My huge collection of LOTR action figures, my Dana Scully with corpse figure, my car, my Big Silver Penis, my cel phone
5 people I tag to do this: Oh, I'm not picky. Tag, you're it.

I laughed outloud when I read that. I should probably replace one of my bad habits with this very thing, now that I think about it.
Would you believe I still have not seen an episode of Lost? I'm terrible. :(
