So I went into an urgent care clinic yesterday. The obnoxious doctor there said he doesn't think I have a kidney infection, which is good. They still have to wait for a culture on the urinalysis, and I got some antibiotics to take in the meantime. They must be starting to work already because I started feeling better late last night. Enough so that I'm just going to bed now.

Hopefully I'll be perky enough later today to do something besides play Sims 2.

Hello!

It sounds like it could be a bladder infection. Due to the meds i'm on, i get a infection every 3 or 4 months. Drink cranberry JUICE, not cocktail - cocktail has lots of sugar, and that will make it worse!

Yeah, I've gotten dozens of UTI's before. I'm prone to them for some reason. The only reason this worried me is that I had mid-back pain on my left side to go with it.

Thanks! Fortuntely, this one seems to be mild. I've had some UTI's before where I honestly wished I could just rip my bladder out and be done with it.

And I haven't, yet. I'm going to see if I can schedule my first term such that I won't have to. If I only have to commute three days a week, I should be able to manage it, especially since it looks like all the classes I need are afternoons.
