Just saw that Anne Bancroft has died.

Man, that really sucks. She was brilliant. How heartbreaking to think of her jovial husband (Mel Brooks) so sad today.

I hear a lot about celebs who pass-- it happens every year-- but sometimes they just hit, especially if it was after a long or painful illness, or from violence or an accident. Johnny Cash's passing had me depressed for days, and I still have a pang for Jerry Orbach.

We all have to go sometime, but there are some truly great people out there who will be missed.

In Pax, Anne.

God bless you please, Mrs. Robinson. Heaven holds a place for those who pray...

I was really surprised when I saw that she had died. 73 is not that old in this day and age. She was a real class act, and the thought of her happily married to Mel Brooks all these years never failed to make me smile.
