So, apparently, eating chocolate can help you lose weight.

Stress makes you gain weight

Endorphins tame stress and lower cortisol levels

and Chocolate stimulates endorphin release

Obviously, it's going to backfire if you eat a dozen candy bars, but it would seem that a few Godivas after a hard day is good for you.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go talk to Dr. Cadbury about a prescription...

See?? There is a reason I push chocolate on everyone. ;-) Godiva is quite tasty but I am suspect of the ingredients. Ghiradelli is another favorite. Lindt is good, but again I am suspect of the ingredients of commercial brands. Nestle is just plain awful. Too sweet and gritty. Dove is wonderful, like eating a piece of silk. *sigh* But, it is yet another one of suspect ingredients. Solution: Go to your local natural foods store and buy a bar of Dagoba New Moon (ie: dark, 74% cacao) chocolate. The texture is a bit rough but the flavor is divine. Plus it is organic and they are fair trade certified. Dark chocolate offers the most health benefits - and this is all about our health, isn't it?
