textualdevianceEvery now and again, it hits me: I'm never going to have another period again. No more cramps, no more damn near bleeding to death, no more expensive supplies, no more worry that I'll have to miss work or an event or something because of being laid up in bed for days.
Still have hormone issues, of course, and all the other crap that's wrong with me, but at least this big issue? Never going to be a problem again. That surgery was the best damn decision I've made in a long time. I'm not even sad about not ever being able to get pregnant. In fact, I'm kind of relieved about that, too, because I was dreading labor and all the other stuff that comes with that.
So, yeah. One definitely damned good thing going on for me now. Halle-freaking-lujah. :)
