Well, this should be interesting
So, I'm the new President.
*pauses for a moment to think about this*
It feels good, actually. A little scary, yeah, considering what we're going to be going through, but good. I feel good about working with Brian on the administrative issues. I feel good about the board members we have and what we're all doing. I feel like I can easily get along with everyone.
There are a LOT of things I've been thinking about lately. A lot of ideas, a lot of work, a lot of brainstorming that needs to be done. And I do want to be a visible presence in the chorus, which I think should be no problem. There's a decent chance I may spend many nights holed up with the laptop in the back of the room, keeping an eye on things and being available while still getting some other work done. It would be best if we manage to move rehearsals to a different location-- one which has wireless net coverage-- but I can try to work around that.
Over the next several days, I'm going to work out what kind of resources and help I'm going to need from people to make this work-- both on the site end of things, and the chorus end. Generally speaking, chorus will be taking precedence, though there will definitely be days where the site is the priority.
I'm going to make it work, though. I love what I'm doing, and I love what I will be doing. I hope I can earn confidence from everyone. It's going to be a wild year.

yay!
Consider me available to you for brainstorming, thoughts, committee work, whatever you think I'd be useful for. I trust you to give clear direction, and so forth. And there's something related I'd like to discuss with you as well... so if you have a chance, give me a call or IM.
If we move to Plymouth and they don't already have wireless, perhaps we could donate them a hub, to facilitate your presence? It would be $200 initial investment (approx.) and then maybe $40 per month after that? *grin*... mostly kidding. but only mostly.
Behind you 100%.
Hugs!

Re: yay!
As for the wireless net thing, I'm looking into getting service like that through my cel co.
