Nesting

Haven't the foggiest why this mood is striking me at the moment, but I've been feeling domestic lately, so the house is getting scrutinzed.

I've been going through room-by-room and making lists of things that need to change/be cleaned/go away/be purchased. Am coming up with quite the list of "needs to go away" stuff. So if you or someone you know is in need of stuff (and has someone to haul the larger pieces-- I'm afraid I'm not up for that) it's all free for the taking.



Sofa/chair:
Blue-ish, pillowtop. Some upholstery damage (kitty scratches on the sides) and in need of a good steam cleaning, but otherwise quite serviceable.

Daybed:
Barely used. White scrollwork metal frame, twin with twin trundle. Mattresses for both. (formerly used in our guest room.) I'll even throw in sheets.

Glass/Black Metal coffee table and 2 end tables:
These are the ones we currently have in our family room, if you've seen that.

Sleep Sofa/Loveseat:
The green pillowtop set we have in the family room. Again a bit of kitty scratches, but shove 'em against a wall, and no-one will see a thing. The bed is a full, and has never been used. Comes with four maroon-ish throw pillows.These two items will be available within a couple of weeks once they've been replaced by our spiffy new sectional.

Breakfast table/chairs:
Light-colored wood. Great condition. Currently taking up space in my kitchen and doing nothing more than gathering various household debris. I think I have chair pads for them somewhere, too.

Kitchen cart:
Rolling three-shelf wood cart with hooks on one edge and a removable cutting board (I think it's still there.) Probably could use a bit of sanding to get rid of surface stains and some tightening of the screws that hold it together.

Possibly available (not sure yet): 4-shelf Black metal and faux brass baker's rack. Missing a couple of tiny trim pieces, and all the screws need to be tightened.

Misc:
Two clock radios, two telephones, a small stereo, a small set of computer speakers, a small brown lamp, a set of black plastic snap-together corner shelves. Toaster, can opener, crock pot. Nearly-new 32-gallon wheeled Rubbermaid trash can. Also have a brand new Porno For Pyros CD that I bought accidentally a few years ago. Still shrink-wrapped.

I'm also going to be getting rid of a bunch of old clothes so ask to see my charity bag if you're interested. Most stuff is ~size 20-24 1x/2x, etc.

There will likely be more things coming available as I finish going through the house. If you need something, ask, I might have it and want it to go away.

If your small stereo has a CD player with it, I know a good home for it.... I need to come help you get shit taken care of again. I need to stop injuring myself so I can do this.

It does indeed have a cd player. It's an older stereo. It's the one that was sitting in my office for a million years. It has dual cassette, cd, stereo and... gasp... a turntable. Plus speakers. Not exactly top-level stuff, no, but you can't beat the price.

Yes you do need to stop injuring yourself. And not just because my gutters need cleaning. I don't like thinking about my sweet Rafeyboy being all miserable and in pain and stuff.
