Today's caucus experience, originally uploaded by TextualDeviance.

I got there fairly early. The line stretched down the street.

I signed my name, pledged for Hillary and dashed out. Pretty much every other person there was pledged for Obama, and I didn't figure I'd do any good to argue.

Interesting, though. Definitely different from regular voting.

I gather from cnn.com that Barack won 2/3 to 1/3 over Hillary in Washington State; I like the long line-ups and the recent polling among Dems that says although many choose one over the other, most everybody says if the other candidate wins, that's okay too!

But, putting your political and web skills to use, while I've heard that primary/caucus voters are astronomical this year, I've also heard that "astronomical" means, meh, around 30 to 40 percent. True? If you have access to the actual percentages, I'd love to know!
