Hey guys, sorry I missed the HD concert tonight. I didn't wake up until 6:30 and I was so hot I could barely move. And I'm still sleepy.

Bleh.

Hope it went lovely, as I'm sure it did! Someone will have to give me details.

So, [livejournal.com profile] squeechieis doing the interview meme for me:

1. Who is your favourite sexually ambiguous poet/author, what story of this person is your most loved and how is this author/poet sexually ambiguous?

Dang, that's a hard one. I'm not sure I have any sexually ambiguous authors I've kept up with. I'll admit that I find Poppy Z. Brite fascinating because her gender identity seems to be very close to mine.

2. If you were a nemesis to a superhero/supervillain, what would your powers be? Who is the hero/villain (or describe her/him/it if made-up) that you are the antithesis to?

Well, I could be cheesy here and say that I'm fighting the good fight for truth, justice and the right to love as one will.

But I think I'll go back to something we discussed a while back and say I'm Captain Cognitive Dissonance, and I have a Cognitive Dissonance ray that I use on people to wake up their brains. My archenemy is Paradigm Man, who looks an awful lot like Arlen Specter and who can't fathom a world where everyone isn't divided up into neat, predictable categories.

3. What has been your favourite computer game outside of the Asheron's Call franchise? Give me three reasons for your choice, since this is question three.

I've spent WAY too many hours playing sim games.

1. Controlling little people!
2. Controlling little cities!
3. Shaping the world exactly the way I want it!

Me? Power-hungry? :P

But not really. :) If I really did have that much power I'd probably panic and pass out.

4. What soprano or mezzo soprano has held a certain fascination for you?

Cecilia Bartoli. Coloratura mezzo. Yipes! I heard her do that Vivaldi thing and about passed out.

5. What would be your favourite role to play in an opera/operetta/musical? (Don't say Mimi from La Bohème.)

Don't laugh, but I've always loved Despina. I'm well out of soubrette range these days, but damn if I don't love those roles. Pretty much any sly, mischevous character is fun for me. I like doing comic and character roles. I can do the big melodramatic shit, too, but I like playing, and I like playful music.

I just knew you'd provide an awesome answer to question #2. Hehehe, good ol' you! (Squeeze!)

And my love of Mozart aside ... you'd suit Despina perfectly! You and she complain about housework almost as much as I do! Wonderful answer! Viva Despina che sa servir!

Ok, now remember, you need to offer to interview someone ... the meme *must* live on!
