Reiterating that we're safe, but some stuff from nearby, for the interest of non-locals:

This is just the other side of I-5 from us.

This is near the freeway entrance where we get onto I-405 every day. A huge office park in that area was evacuated.

We cross this intersection at least a few times a month to go shopping or to the movie theater in Woodinville. Video of this here.

Just a few blocks away from the MS campus

A .pdf map of the big stuff here. We live slightly to the east of where the "10" marker is.

Also, I-5 is closed for a 20-mile stretch around Centralia. That closure is expected to last for at least a couple more days.

The rain is still coming down--two more days' worth, according to forecasts.

Thos underpass roads are pretty much screwed everywhere. I know that 116th under the freeway was closed all day yesterday and I wouldn't have been surprised to see 132nd closed under the freeway too (when I drove home from PT yesterday morning it high enough to sluice over the car in front of me... I dodged over into the other lane, and still had it wash over the windshield).

And isn't that footage from Woodinville just unbelievable? Near as I can tell from this morning's reporting, it's STILL underwater.
