Oh, that makes me homesick for SF! (Not surprisingly, I always miss my former hometown more when it's -15 C outside here....)
My family and I actually crossed from England to America (or was it the other way around?) on the first Queen Mary in the early 1960s, when I was 3 years old. Pity I was much too young to enjoy it!
