Random celeb encounter?

In the same vein as seeing James Doohan pushing a cart at a Safeway in Redmond and being behind Steve Ballmer when he was buying muffins, I think I may have seen a minor celeb today when I was grabbing lunch.



I think this is Blake Lewis, but I really don't follow AI, so I don't know for sure. I think he lives around here somewhere, though, so I suppose it's possible.

More randomness

In other random news: Have I mentioned lately how much I love living in Geekville? First it was the Elessar vanity plate. And then yesterday (day before?) we saw a plate frame on a Toyota Highlander that read, "There can be only one."

Ah, these are my people. *nods*

Today's hacking

I guess it's a good sign when the person doing your staging consult is visibly impressed with your house. She said it all looked nice and bright and well-kept, and said the floors were gorgeous. She also mistook one of our bedrooms (my former office) for the master. Heh. She also loved the view from the front yard, which is a bonus.

Now I just hope that the agent and potential buyers are equally impressed.

We really are getting veeeery close to the end of this stage. We do still have a long list of stuff to do, but most of it is dinky little stuff that'll take an hour at most. The biggest major project is installing the baseboards, and that should be done in the next couple of days. I honestly think we should be ready to put a bow on it and let the agent do her thing by late next week. GAH!

Ok, first I get a great quote from the stagers, then I randomly run into a D-list celeb, then I get a call from my recruiter who tells me I'll probably have an interview next week with my old team, then, out of the absolute blue, a long-lost cousin calls me and tells me he's on a Greyhound, heading through town on his way up to hop on an Alaska fishing boat.

What other good-but-weird stuff does this day have in store for me???
