Sore and tired, and not done, yet
Woke up early this morning to take the drive out to BFE: Eastern Reaches to pick up K, and then she and I spent the rest of the afternoon tricking out the apartment to some degree. Furniture rentals were delivered, which also helps.
Still need to move over some big stuff--couch pieces, litter box cabinet, kitty tree, tv/components/stand. With luck, that'll happen this weekend. Also need a lot of little stuff like clothes, computers, lamps, clocks, bedding, towels, etc. We'll probably do that on our own over the next couple of days. Also lots of last-minute chores to do--laundry and such.
I'm guessing we'll probably move the cats this weekend and sleep at the apartment regularly starting next week. Our current bed and many other things are staying for a while, so we have a place to crash if we're working on the house late and would rather pass out here, but the phase-out is starting.
I'm hoping to have the storage pods here for loading by next weekend, and I'm guessing we'll have most of the packing done by then, too. Any assistance we could get then would be greatly appreciated. I'll post specific times when I get closer to that.

All this moving around does mean that it's going to be a little harder for me to be in touch for at least the next few days. I'm already well behind on my flist and on FB. If you have something critical I should see, post a link on this entry, and I'll check it. Or otherwise just send me mail. I'll probably be limited to posting FB statuses and tweets for the near term, but assume no news is good news. ;)
