Well, yours truly just voluntarily ate animal flesh (in the form of tuna noodle casserole) for the first time in 16 years.
I'm a bit nervous. I don't feel queasy so far (as long as I don't think about it) but I imagine I might have some GI problems tomorrow. We'll see.
I've been trying to get my courage up to do this for a long time. I've known I needed to start eating at least a little fish now and then for my anemia, but I just never could stomach it. But with how demanding my summer and fall are going to be, I need to try something else to keep me going. And, well, tuna is cheaper than cocaine.
I feel guilty. And definitely weirded out when I think about it too much. But we'll see how I feel in the next day or so, to see if it's worth it.
Went up to the bachelor pad today to get the last of my needed stuff. It's kind of weird that, except for furniture, my entire apartment fits in the back of my car. With space left over, even.
