Ok, I've just started playing the demo for Rise of Legends.
*drool*
It's very, very different--no villagers!--but the graphics and mythology around it, plus the different research trees (very complex) make for a very interesting game. I'll have to dig into it more to get all the strategy down, but it's working well so far.
On a totally random note, it's so very nice to have discussions about politics/current events/social issues with people who understand the underlying concepts.
