So, I was going to head up to B'ham momentarily, and went to check traffic.

I-5 N through Everett is almost a solid black line. Given the hour of the day, that's not going to dissipate even when whatever it is that's blocking things clears up. Unless I feel like being stuck in traffic or picking my way through an alternate route, I'm kinda stuck here until things finally loosen up. Probably around 8p.

Speaking of edibles, this is amazing.

As an o/l veg, I could actually see myself eating this stuff. If an animal wasn't slaughtered or abused to make it, that's good enough for me. A tiny sample of muscle tissue to grow the cells isn't a big deal, and if doing that means there will be less need to cause far more pain and death to animals, then great.

So, as it turns out, classes start tomorrow instead of Wednesday, like I'd thought. So I'm in bham about to crash out so I can wrench my lazy ass out of bed in time for my early class.

Speaking of which, I was realizing that there are all these people on my flist whose journals I read every day and yet I almost never comment or otherwise interact with y'all. Rest assured that if you're on the list, I'm reading, even if I'm not giving any feedback. There are several of you I dearly miss talking to regularly, but I just don't have the time/energy for more than a drive-by shout these days. It was great seeing folks at heyokaboy's party, though.
