I feel like shit. There's a cold going around here and I got it. Fortunately, I had my flu shot last week, so hopefully I won't have anything more serious than a stuffy, itchy, confused head and the desire to sleep for a month.
This condition being the case, though, I think I'm going to go home tonight after class and stay there for the weekend unless I get a story assignment or there's something truly pressing going on in Friday's history class. I'm just tired and emotionally wrung out from the last several days and I just wanna go home and cuddle up with my sweetie and our furbabies and watch Lost.
I did do some quick figuring, though. I think I can manage to get a passing grade in the newspaper class if I can come up with five non-opinion stories between now and the end of term. I think I can do that. They allow 75 points in the last two weeks of class, and that's (hopefully) all I'll need by then. It won't be a great grade, but it should be enough to get me to pass. And then hopefully next term I'll have a better feel for campus and the stories that come up there. I think that, plus the lack of clear information from the editorial staff, is really what's killing me.
