You know, it amazes me that in the ongoing debates about gay marriage, etc. one simple principle seems to be overlooked:
Religious law cannot be made into civil law
I'm not sure why we even bother arguing anything else. The simple fact is that nearly all anti-gay rhetoric is based in religious law. No-one can prove that there are any real non-religious reasons to deny people the right to love and be as they are.
