This is cool

Every once in a while, you stumble on something that gives you hope for the future. The above thread-- on IMDB, of all places-- is amazing.

Stayed up too late last night, and had to get up so I can make a dr. appt today since I missed one last week. Head feels like it's full of soggy cotton.

I know things are starting to calm down when I can read through 8 hours of mail, flists and mb's in an hour instead of it taking all day. Of course it helps when I don't have to really answer most of it.

Now to get into the backlog. There are only... *checks*... 550 unread messages. Of course, some of those go back to December. God, I'm terrible at that. I read something, intend to get back to it later, and I just never do. And then people think I'm mad at them or don't like them or something when really, I'm just absentminded and easily distracted.

And then there are the... *checks*.... ~650 pics sitting on my hd that I need to upload. Then I need to do TTT caps. Then...

Ah, fuckit. I should just delete everything and go sleep for a month instead. But then I'd be bored.

I hope I get good news from the doc today. I'm really fucking tired of feeling this way and I want to feel better, dammit.

Well, it's official. I have sleep apnea. Doc says from my history, I've probably had it since I was little. Apparently, during the test, they count number of breath obstruction "incidents" and normal is less than 5, severe is more than 30, and mine was 24. Every time I went into REM sleep I stopped breathing, and I only once went into "deep" sleep-- stage 3-- and never got into stage 4. I guess that would kind of explain why I'm so damned tired all the time. My body's not getting any sleep and I'm oxygen-deprived. I go in again Sunday for a test with the cpap and we'll see if that works or not. I hope so. With all the health problems I have, it would be nice to know at least one of them is actually treatable.

They played this song on the radio earlier today and now I can't get the thing out of my head. Which is annoying because it reminds me far too much of my misspent youth, listening to that album (along with several other power pop bands I was into at the time. Yes, I was a trailer trash spandex headbanger. For about 6 months until I turned into a New Waver intead.)
