Jesus, I miss everyone. I'm still not up to being in chorus this season (I really REALLY need the downtime) but I miss hanging out with everyone. I keep thinking I should show up to CF on Tuesdays anyway, even if I don't go to rehearsal. There are just too many people I miss hugging.
The REALLY good news is that, once I've gotten caught up on all the Oscar stuff that'll filter in this week, I am DONE, tater pie. What little news there will be won't keep me all that busy, so until summer, I'm FREEEEEE. I think I'm going to be domestic for a while-- get the house in shape, etc. Enjoy my new roomie :)
I also feel like doing a lot of other getting-out-of-the-house things, too. Shopping, more little vacations (ROAD TRIP!!) maybe some camping. Just being out in the sunshine and enjoying the clean air and growing things. On the way back from the airport, I noticed a parking lot in Tukwila that was landscaped exclusively with flowering cherry trees (or they may have been plum) and the whole lot was just a sea of clouds of light pink. Beautiful.
I never really did get a break last year. The whole Elijah PR madness started around this time and it took up my whole spring and summer. But I think things are going to be quieter this time, and I'm looking forward to it.
Now, if my back would just unknot so I can get started with all these grand plans....
