So why am I suddenly all fired up to be Christmasy and domestic and cook a lot? I haven't had enthusiasm for that holiday in years. Since it's not, really, my holiday after all (tho I do a bit of Solstice stuff.)

I had a dream about getting a job in Alaska and when I woke up, I was disappointed that there was no snow outside.
