They've reported seeing funnel clouds just north of me, and supposedly the exact area I'm in (lower Snohomish county) is at risk of more later.

Power is flickering, too. Should've known when I heard thunder and high winds in a mostly-clear sky.

And yes, this is in mountain country. Sigh...

I should be alright. The weather system in question is mostly north of me, and the funnel clouds are small. We don't get those a lot, here. We mostly have to deal with floods, earthquakes and the occasional volcano.

Tornados? Been there done that - grew up in Florida.

Floods? Been there done that - live in a valley that used to be a swamp 1000s of years ago.

Earthquakes? Rarely, and they are barely noticable here.

Volcanos? NOW you are scaring me. Oh boy.
