the power fairies are on strike again

textualdevianceThis makes the third time in six months we've been down. Three hours so far. Quite sick of it.
And to make things worse, my little old lady has decided to go anorexic. I got her to eat some chicken last night, and a few spoonsful of her squishy food, but otherwise, nada. Apparently, this is common in later stages of renal failure. So, time to call the doc again, which we really can't afford, especially not after finding out that the little old man may have heart problems and thus needs expensive tests.
And somehow, I'm supposed to manage all this with a n term starting next week. Joy.
Is it too early to call a do-over on this year already?
