Unfortunately, it's not just an issue of iron, but of the type. My body doesn't absorb non-HEME iron as well. I've been making do with eggs and dairy, but it's not ideal. And then there's all the other fish nutrients and stuff, plus I need to cut down my soy consumption.
I'd rather not have to do this, and I've been fighting it for a long time, but I really have to just take the plunge.
