Home again, home again
Back for the weekend again, after a very long and dense class on neurons, which included a sort of Microbiology in Five Minutes thing that involved writing out the steps to bake cookies and send them across the country. O_o
It's been a decent week, though, I think. I've really enjoyed my ethics class. We got into invasion of privacy stuff this week. I think I did okay on my psych exam Wednesday. Probably lost a few points than what I got on the first one, but not too bad.
One unfortunate thing has cropped up. My knees are starting to give out. I can't do stairs very easily anymore at all. Both of them are having trouble, but my left one, the one I sprained really bad when I was in 5th grade, is almost non-functional. I can go down stairs, though I have to keep my left leg straight, but going up more than a couple just doesn't work. So this probably means I get to go see the doc soon and see if there's anything I can do to stop it. Not that that's likely, as the problem is probably that I've worn away the cartilage. I sort of knew this would be happening eventually, and with the extra walking I've been doing around campus, I've probably put a lot more stress on those joints than they're used to, but I'd been hoping I had several more years of mobility left before they went to hell. Meh.
I'm really tired, so I'm going to have a nap before heading out to hang with
havdrake :D It's been far too long since I've done any socializing. Whoa. I have friends. What a concept! ;)
