One last tidbit before I go crash
So, I'm thumbing through some of my already-purchased textbooks for my classes (wanted to get a jump on it. What can I say?) and I'm quite delighted to see that one of our required stylebooks has a huge section in it on sensitive language, including some very thorough sections on referring to gay people, and on being sure to not use marital status, parenthood or physical appearance descriptors for women unless they're relevant to the story. Awesome.
Now if only more mainstream media would adhere to those guidelines. I'm SO tired of seeing phrases like "avowed homosexual" and "the pretty blonde hydraulics engineer."

Y'know how I'm all crazy about domestic architecture and I like building dream houses in Sims 2?
Well, yours truly just found design resource nirvana.
I think I just wet myself.
