Stuff
With my new position comes some new responsibility, and one of those things is going to be keeping chorus-related discussions to the appropriate fora. However, this being my journal, there will still be times I need to personally rant. So I'm going to create a friends filter for those posts. This will be totally off-the-record personal-type stuff, but it's going to be of a sensitive nature, and therefore only a few people that I completely trust will be on that filter. Please, *please* don't take it personally if you're not on that filter. Most everything else chorus-business-related will be conducted on the board list, as it should be, and anyone who wants to can join that.
Item #2 is that I'm going to be spending the next couple of weeks or so shifting priorities around and making room in my life for this. However, I will also be out of town from the 16th-20th doing ComiCon, and so I'll be basically incommunicado during that time. This next two weeks is a rampup time for me, so please understand that I'll need that time to get all my ducks in a row. I won't be able to tackle in-depth or long-range issues just yet.
I now have a new email addy for chorus-related business: slwchorus@insanity-inc.org
This is the best way to contact me for chorus stuff. Personal email is still shawna@insanity-inc.org and fandom email is still msallegro@bagendinn.com
Calling me is useful in emergencies, but otherwise doesn't really help much because frankly I don't retain things I hear over the phone very well. If you'd like to have an actual meeting with me for something, whether that's phone or in person, email me to schedule that. Half the time I don't even answer my phone anyway because I'm in the middle of something else.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who often just ignores the ringing thing in the corner because I have better/other things to do.

And sorry for calling you today, if that's not what you're preferring. Mostly I just wanted to say congrats. :)

And thanks!

Phone is the worst way to get to me. I hate phones.
