WOW

There's some truly amazing stuff here.

Strange Buildings of the World

I've only been to the Luxor and the Santa Monica Civic Center, though I've seen one of the Wonderworks buildings in Orlando. I'm kind of surprised they didn't include the EMP or the new library.

Fabulous list! A tour of those buildings would be so much fun. The Basket House is cuuuuuuute.

I'm neutral on the EMP, but as many times as I've seen it, I still love to see the library whenever I go by.

I like that if you look at Part II as well, there are three buildings here in Montreal that make the list - go us! But my favourite has to be the Kansas City Library - nice that they include LotR in their books, heh....

I've been in the Chapel in the Rocks and the Airforce Academy Chapel, and driven by the kettle house (14) many times. It's on Galveston Island, less than an hour from here, or at least it used to be. Burt's comment was "it looks like it could float", and if it's where I think it is, it would have almost had to float. The West end got pretty hammered, so who knows if it's even there any more.

My absolute favorite is the KC library, what a WONDERFUL idea!!!!
