Ugh

Ok. Officially over the winter thing.

M is finally home. Seven hours after he left work.

His commute normally takes about 45 minutes.

Eeek. I know a lot of people's commute times get longer in bad weather, but that's insane. Were roads closed?

He was on a freeway for most of it. But it took him an hour to get about 1/2 mile over an interchange, because it was all just a sheet of ice, and everyone was just inching along. And then, further ahead, there was a multi-car accident that blocked the whole freeway for five hours.
