Our heroine, after spending a late night scanning YouTube for 80s videos until sleep arrived, was awoken about an hour ago with a call from the dealership. Not only is the car safe, but the problem--a loose fuel line--is simple and cheap to repair. Our heroine is also excited that the dealership has offered to pick her up when the repairs (plus an oil change) are completed.

Soon, our plucky gal will be on the road, heading south to meet the dashing husband and settle in for several days of playing video games, watching stuff off the DVR and cooking/eating comfort food. Well, and homework, too, but nevermind that.

And they all lived happily ever after!
