Fred Schneider from the B-52's. My GOD that man was so flaming he could have set fire to a bowl of soggy cereal.

Oh, Goddess yes. You have to love Fred. He's just so damned deliciously over the top. And really, how can you *not* love a guy who sings "There's a monster in my pants"?

The video for "The Love Shack"!!! Oh, that whole thing is just packed SOLID with colorful, flamboyant GAYNESS! I don't see how anyone could watch that without feeling like this was the most giddily wonderful thing EVER!

Has anybody seen a dog dyed dark green about two inches tall with a strawberry blonde fall sunglasses and a bonnet and designer jeans with appliques on it . . .

I remember ashing my brother once, when I was about 13, to listen to this guy's voice. "He has a specific accent," I said, "and I can't think of what it is."
