A little help

I'm compiling a sort of Queer IMDB. There are other things out there like this, but I'm focusing specifically on films with protagonists who are GLBT--no sidekicks, tokens, etc. The film itself need not be of any particular genre--comedy, drama, whatever--anything except porn. It just needs a queer protagonist.

I'm focusing on English-language films, but others are welcome, too--Fire, for instance--however, they need to have had a U.S. theatrical release. No direct-to-video.

Here's where y'all come in.

I need links, if there's something else like this that I can't unearth (and PopcornQ is useless, I'm afraid.)

I also need titles.

Heee, how about "Party Monster"? That new film "Brokeback Mountain" is gay cowboys, too. "Angels In America" was a mini-TV series. Does that count?

If I think of any more you don't already have, I'll let you know.

Brokeback is part of the reason I'm doing this. I want to compare its critical and box office success with other films with queer protagonists. Party Monster is a good addition.

"The Hours and the Times" is fictionalized gayness about the Beatles' manager and John Lennon. I think it was released in theaters but I'm not sure.

Also, uh using a program like "Netflix" (you don't have to sign up to use this) you can browse by genre. Click here. That's a pretty darned good list to start from.

Ooooh! I hadn't thought of Netflix. Thanks!

Lillies, which is Canadian but was pretty popular among the gay community in Calgary.
