random rant

Why do people try so hard to be toys?

Everyone wants to look and act like Barbie and Ken. (Or GI Joe, for those who think Ken's a pussy.)

I don't get it. Why would you want to look like a clone like that? And what I get even less are people who are attracted to that look. There is nothing at all sexually stimulating about fucking someone who looks and acts like a piece of plastic.

it all comes down to Hollywood. If people weren't shown these plasic images 24/7, then I doubt any of them would want to look that way.
I hear ya. it makes me nuts too....

Hollywood has a lot to do with it, as does the media/advertising circus. I think I posted in one of your LJs a small rant about how the media control culture via advertising. This just goes hand in hand with that. Barbie/Ken figures look better in print/TV/film than fat people - at least that is what we have been indoctrinated to think. Thus only the Barbie/Ken figure people are photographed, are promoted at work, etc. A vicious, shallow way of life, really.

Hmmmmmmm. Two bitchy posts in a row. Me thinks you need a good neck and/or foot massage and copious amounts of Dagoba chocolate. I suggest you receive both from Dom. *evil, evil grin*
