It was actually sort of out of the blue--weirdly so. I posted a tiny Twitter rant noting that it's not always easy to socialize with strangers when you're not "normal" and she came back with something along the lines of, well, if your non-normal stuff is all you show, maybe that's all people think you are. Along with some rather icky stereotyping attached to that.
Was really quite gobsmacked by it all. Not someone I'd have expected to do that, plus, my Twitter is 90% pop culture, so where she'd get the idea that that's "all" I'm showing? No clue. Though at this point, I spose she's one of those people who thinks same-sex couples are "flaunting their sexuality" if they happen to have a wedding pic on their desk. Sigh...
